Details, Compositions, and Color Corrections

In my opinion, I think that people who don't use photoshop or any photo editing devices to produce their final product is crazy. Some may disagree with me of course because there are some successful photographers who don't use photoshop at all. I still think their crazy. Cause that means you'd have to really pay attention to each detail in depth and have everything played out just perfectly during the shoot to make some clean-presentable work you can sell. And if you're like me, you easily forget about something during a shoot when you're focused on one thing. For example, sometimes, I didn't notice that a tag was sticking out or something distracting was in the background until I pull up the image in photoshop. So if you are like me, you love photoshop and can benefit from it during post processing.
It's a phenomenal tool!
In regards to that, people always wonder what I go through when I edit my photos. I do several million things and I love working with layers. I'm all about details, having weird compositions and color correcting. For me, it's hard to keep a photo up if it isn't perfect. And sometimes the eye is blind and doesn't notice the flaw that was kept in until after it was posted. So you can only imagine how long I can take on one photo before I actually post it. It's a curse and a blessing.
Heres a before and after example of what I did with this photo of my tester model. You'll be able to see the RAW original (cropped for presentation) transform to the final product! Just slide left or right!
