aboutme
The camera is just my way in. What I’m really here for is you. the real, messy, vibrant, no-need-to-perform version.
I work with people who don’t fit neatly into a box. The ones who want to feel something when they look back at their photos. The ones who wear designer gowns and then cannonball into the pool. The ones who whisper vows one moment and dance barefoot in the dirt the next.
Photography for me isn’t about posing or perfection, it’s about storytelling.
I was born in Rhode Island, raised in Minnesota, now soaking up the sunshine in San Diego. I’m a quiet observer at heart, more moved by the glances between lovers than grand setups.
I like black coffee, spontaneous camping trips, a sucker for good visual metaphors, and I’m someone who will 100% eat an entire bag of Hershey’s nuggets after a 12-hour wedding day. I love the finer things in life; texture, intention, elevated design, but I’ll never take myself too seriously.
So if you’re looking for a photographer who’s part fly-on-the-wall, part hype squad, part art director, part human. I’m your person.
Let’s make something honest. Something bold. Something you.
Welcome to my art space: where story matters more than shutter speed.
This isn’t about gear, it’s about why each image exists. the emotion, the connection, and that split second magic we often miss. I chase moments that are in between the posed smiles and Pinterest ready shots. All those accidental glances, trembling hands, and moments we consider the outtakes? Those are the good stuff that tells your story best.
My love for weddings isn’t just visual—it’s visceral. I preserve the real, raw, beautifully imperfect moments with intention, not perfection, so you can look back and feel exactly what it felt like.
My philosophy: Movement over molding
Photos shouldn’t feel like instructions. They should feel like invitations. Some people are model pros (huge respect), but most of us express ourselves through rhythm, interaction, and subtle chemistry. I believe each couple has their own natural dance, and my job is to gently guide, not stage.
Think of it like this:
He brushes her cheek—how does she respond?
She tells a secret—how does his smile shift?
A stray eyelash on their cheek—what’s the instinctive reaction?
There’s a beat to every little moment, a silent rhythm. My job is to hear it, capture it, and let you relive it. Planned moments don’t always feel honest, which is why I see you as real humans, not just portraits.
So no Ikea instructions, no stiff direction. Just simple prompts, and natural movements. and if you’re unsure, just focus on how much you love each other, I’ll take care of the rest.
