I’m more interested in how you’ll feel about your photos years from now. I don’t think I always understood that. But after ten years of shooting weddings, somewhere along the way it became less about the wedding itself and more about life. The people we get to have for a while. The little things we don’t know we’ll miss yet.

I think that’s why I photograph love the way memory works. Not as something perfect, but something that was felt.
